The vision for our retail store was to create a neutral backdrop to complement and highlight the accessories and furniture. We painted the walls a warm, clean white and sanded the original oak floors to emulate old factory flooring. The ceiling was painted white and any existing lighting was replaced with energy efficient LED track lighting, creating a bright and open feel to the 14’ high space. The reception desk was created with recycled wooden slats in varying shades of grey and natural cedar. An old typewriter was placed at reception to record thoughtful messages from store patrons, friends and family.
